Wayne Jackman has contributed to some of the most iconic UK & International children's TV programmes over the past 30 years both as an actor, presenter and writer. As a scriptwriter these include: Playschool, Rainbow, Radio Roo, Blue Peter, Allsorts, Thomas The Tank Engine, Postman Pat, Tony Hart's Artbox, Tweenies, Balamory, Fifi & The Flowertots, Disney Time, Bodger & Badger, Record Breakers, Zig & Zag, Basil Brush, Roary The Racing Car, Rocketboy & Toro, Fimbles, Waybuloo, The Baaas, Nina & The Neurons, Dibo The Gift Dragon and Timmy Time for Aardman.

He is also the author of children's stage shows, 35 books for children and has been a regular writer/contributor to programmes on BBC Radio 4 and 5 including a stint on the BBC Radio Rep.

His stage acting work has included lead roles in the West End (Angel Knife), The Young Vic (John, Paul, George, Ringo & Bert), The Old Red Lion, Cockpit, Orange Tree, Croydon Warehouse, Komedia & BAT. Panto roles have included Gardner Centre (Gingerbread Man, Pinocchio), Hazlitt (Wishy-Washy), Connaught (Dick Whittington), Fareham (Buttons).

TV Work has included 200+ appearances on Playschool (as presenter), 250+ appearances on Allsorts (as Jiffy), 39 appearances on Radio Roo (writer & Dennis) and over 400 other children's shows. Peaktime drama TV roles for all the mainstream channels include:  The White Guard, Enchanted Toad, Bluebirds, The Bill, Harbour Lights, As Man & Wife, Campion, Hideaway, Chef's Apprentice, For Amusement Only, Touch Of Spice.
